Finding Hope in Depression (FHID), formerly Hope in Depression, exists to provide support for anxiety and depression sufferers and their supporters by combining compassion, education, and community.
We run structured courses designed to help people better understand depression, reduce isolation, and equip them with practical tools for recovery.
Each course is led by trained facilitators and features expert guest speakers covering topics such as:
Founded by Lisa Owens following her own experiences with depression and recovery, FHID has grown into a supportive community that helps individuals and families across multiple locations with depression recovery. Lisa now runs FHID with her husband Brent Owens who is passionate about bringing FHID to the workplace. We partner with mental health professionals to ensure all content is evidence-based, relevant, and accessible.
At FHID, we believe that recovery starts with understanding — and that no one should face depression without knowledge, support, and hope.
